Hello all,

We're in the process of developing an application with ZigBee Smart Energy and a JN5169 USB dongle. We want to use the JN5169 as co-processor (i.e. with the application running on a PC) and not as a SOC but we're having trouble finding documentation explaining how to achieve this. Can someone point us in the right direction?

Hello,

The SE need special key exchange mechanism at the stack level, if you want to make this application you will need to use the SE stack and change the JN-AN-1216 to adapt to SE stack and by using the following link you will need to develop your own JN-AN-1216 as we do not have any document about that specific application.

 

It is important that you consider the support will be limited as that SE SDK is quite old, unfortunately, we do not have any plans to have a new release.
