Hallo,

is it possible to use the S32Kxx Version of Motor  Control Toolbox with KEAZ64 or KEAZ128 Microcontrollers? We intend to use this family in our product and would like to leverage the MCT toolchain. So far there is no, better say i couldt not find any, direct support for the given microcontroller family.

Are the both microcontroller families kind of a compatible in the sense of the SDK and software drivers, to allow for using KEAZ family with the S32K version of the toolbox? If this is the case, do anybody know what pitfalls can appear in such a try?

Thans and cheers,

Nikola Nedeljkovic

Hi nikolanedeljkovic‌,

The KEA are not enabled by any of the Toolboxes we have so far.

One of the big differences is the ARM core itself (M0 vs M4 used in S32K) while other major differences being pin layout and clocking. The bad news being - do not try such scenario, will not work.

Therefore the recommendation is (if possible) to consider S32K for design in case you are interested in Model-Based.

Sorry for the bad news and hope you will consider S32K for the future.

Best regards,
Daniel
