S12ZVC ADC Power consumption in STOP Mode

Dear Sirs,

When I tested the S12ZVC MCU's STOP Mode current, If my application has to use AD_MeasureChan (), the STOP Mode current will be too large, about 1mA. Once my application does not use AD_MeasureChan (), the STOP Mode current will be normal, about 45uA. What is the reason for this situation?

Hello Allen,

The ADC can take a higher current in Stop Mode (500μA increasing over time to about 1mA
per ADC instance) if the ADC is enabled and conversions have been done.

Please see S12ZVC_0N23N, Mask Set Errata for Mask 0N23N.

There is a software workaround available.

Regards,

Daniel
