I am using the DEVKIT-MPC5748G board and run the example code of uart. In the code, I can see initLINFlexD_1 is using and suppose it means using uart 1. However, I found no where shows the pins for uart 1.
Hi, LinFlex is the module offering two functionalities, LIN or UART.
LINFlexD_1 can just be UART pins.
Hi David, thank you for reply. My further question is how I can find those UART pins related to LINFlexD_1. There should be RX_1 and TX_1 pins. How are these pins identified for their location in DEVKIT-MPC5748G board?
Hi Austin,
If you have the schematic of DEVKIT-MPC5748G board(DEVKIT-MPC5748G-SCH.pdf), you could take a look at sheet 7. The pinning of LINFlexD is named as LINxTX and LINxRX. So what you were looking for is on pin 44 and pin 45.
Got it. Thank you.
