How I can use NVT4857UK with SD3.0 controller interface signals

Question asked by Sreedhar Mailapalli on Aug 4, 2017

Hi All,

As per SD3.0 specification  SD initialization time, the signal with 3.3V but this NVT4857UK part interface limited to 1.2-1.8V @ host side. Please let me know on below two features, which are confusing me

Feature-1: SD 3.0 specification-compliant voltage translation to support SDR104, SDR50,DDR50, SDR25, SDR12, High-Speed and Default-Speed modes.

Here my question,High-Speed and Default-Speed modes- signal levels are 3.3V.

Feature-2:1.2 V to 1.8 V host side interface voltage support

As per SD3.0 specification  SD initialization time, the signal with 3.3V, how we can use this translator when designed for this to support SDR104, SDR50,DDR50, SDR25, SDR12, High-Speed and Default-Speed modes.

Is there any other IC will support with nominal voltage from 1.7V to 3.6V  Like IP4856CX25/C with auto direction pin.

IP4856CX25/C, this part with direction pins but I need with auto direction pin
