iMX6UL EVK Schematics -- Usage of P-FET Q2003

Hi

I am not able to understand the usage of P-FET (Q2003) in the circuit ?

I initially tought it is there for reverse voltage protection, but with R2013 , R2014 being placed across Source and Drain , I am not able to understand the usage of the FET.

Can some one tell me if there is a DNP for R2013/R2014  and also the need for Q2003.

It looks like that the Q2003 and R2013, R2014 are not needed.

If reverse voltage protection is needed, a diode in parallel to TVS2002 can be used.

The R2013, R2014 will be damaged at 2-4A current. Protection diode in the Q2003 can be used up to 2A current.

Really the Q2001, Q2002, D2001, resistors and TVS2002 are protection circuit on this board.
