We are using LPC1778 IC as a microcontoller for our design, We fabricated that after 3 years of purchase, Is there any chances of LPC misbehaving/Corrupting  if it is not baked properly and mounted on the PCB???

Hello KARTHIK KS,

Do you mean you are using the UART ISP to download the code to the LPC1778, but the downloading is failed?

When you use the ISP, do you enter the ISP mode correctly?

A LOW level after reset at pin P2[10] is considered an external hardware request to start the ISP command handler using UART0 pins P0[2] (U0_TXD) and P0[3] (U0_RXD).

Besides, you need to check your TTL, whether the voltage is exceed the LPC1778 max voltage. If the voltage is exceed the max lpc1778 data, it may damages the pin.

When the corrupt happens, do you also use the SWD or the JTAGE interface, and download it by the debugger(for example JLINK)?

Have a great day,
Kerry
