Hi all

I want to know how to calculate the EIM asynchronous timing parameters which are shown in table 39 in MX7SCEC.

pastedImage_2.png

The parameter of CSA which include WCSA and RCSA is defined as below.

pastedImage_3.png

From above, when user set RCSA to "111", the Max of WE31 is -4 ns.

Am I correct ?

How can I calculate the parameters ?

Hi Ko-hey

not sorry, as CSA (RCSA) should be entered to formula in EIM clock cycles

expressed in ns units.

Best regards

Hi Igor

Thank you for reply.

For 135MHz, the cycle is 7.4 ns and CSA is 7.

The Max of WE31 is 3 - (7 x EIM clock cycle) = 3 - 7 * 7.4 = -48.8 ns

Am I correct ?

If the above is correct, I think most of them will be minus regulations.

Hi Ko-hey

it is correct however there restrictions on max. EIM frequency
given in Table 45. EIM bus timing parameters i.MX7D Datasheet
htttp://cache.nxp.com/files/32bit/doc/data_sheet/IMX7DCEC.pdf

minus is because CS is delayed.

Best regards
igor
