Dear all,

We want to use Hot Plug function of PCIe.

Does Linux L4.1.15 BSP support PCIe Hot Plug function?

The following is explained in Release Notes of Linux L3 .14.52 BSP.

PCIe Hot Plug is not supported.

However, I was not able to find this description in Release Notes of L4 .1.15 BSP.

Would you tell me whether L4.1.15 BSP supports PCIe Hot Plug function?

Best Regards,
Yuuki

The PCIe driver of the L4.1.15 BSP supports the Hot Plug feature. The BSP Refernce Manual clearly says that.

Have a great day,
Artur

HOTPLUG is not supported by imx6q pcie.

It's HW limitation.

Dear Joan-san,

Thank you for your reply.

What is HW limitation?

Is it a problem of i.MX6? Or is it the problem of the SABRE circuit?

Best Regards,

Yuuki
