Accuracy of MPC5674F internal temperature sensor

dear NXP team, 

I am testing the temperature sensor function in MPC5674F using the EVB board.

I searched the community and downloaded the example code(Example_MP5674F-TSENS-Temperature_cal), 

I loaded the sample code on the target board and run it.

The measured TSEN_CODE value were changed between 26 and 32 degree. 

I think the deviation is very large, it is normal range?

i wanna know a normal error range. 

and, if the measured value is normal, it is difficult to use in my project . 

Is there a way to improve accuracy?

Hi, these internal sensors are typically quite imprecise, thus +/-10 °C is valid even it is calibrated in accordance to reference manual.

If you want to measure ambient temperature you should rather use external sensor.
