eMIOS OPWMB mode Query

I am using MPC5746C for my project development.

eMIOS 0 channels uses as per project requirement:

Channel : 0,8,16,22,23,24 (Type X ), (1,2,3,4,5,6) (Type G ) using OPWFMB

Channel : 20,21,26,26,28,29,30,31 (Type Y) using OPWMB

Channel : 9,10,11,12,13,14 (Type H)  using IPM

For using OPWMB mode, external counter is required and user need to configure external counter via MCB mode. That external counter is the time base to operate PWM channel for 20,21,26,26,28,29,30,31.

Now as per project requirement if each channel has a different frequency, then how to handle this situation because almost all channel has been used and hardware design in fixed?

Hi Atul,

no way. The freq/period of OPWMB channels is given by its Counter Bus, as you wrote. If you need different freq then OPMFMB must be used.
