GStreamer-1.0 and imx6sx

Dear All,

I have mx6sxsabresd with yocto linux 4.1.15, it has wayland compositor and i use weston as platform 

to run and debug qt applications through ssh.

qt forms applications work, but when I use gstreamer in qt (e.g. playbin) it plays only the audio! with out the graphics.

gst-inspect shows that i do not have waylandsink, in fact, $gst-inspect | grep wayland shows nothing! 

what do i need to play audio/video files on wayland/weston. or should i change the compositor?

Hi Adelante

i.MX6SX has not vpu and according to attached Release Notes sect.6.4 i.MX Qt Applications :

..applications are only available in platforms with VPU.."

Also please check Table 29. Video codec specification for hardware without VPU acceleration.
