Dear,

We want to evaluate the battery monitor function, but we do not see description in detailed.

1. For below description, if battery voltage is 3.6v, whether battery power could connect to ADC input directly, and chip will detect 3.6/4 voltage, no need external divide voltage? We see the battery monitor could detect voltage range from 2.4v to 3.6v.
9.5.6 Battery monitor
A battery monitor is integrated by connecting supply voltage (VDD / 4) to the ADC input. It uses the internal regulated reference for conversion.

2. BLE will work in deep sleep mode, and power consumption is about 2uA, if connnect ADC to Vbat, and do not open the battery monitor function, whether it will add power consumption? What is the power consumption for the ADC module, we do not see the info from datasheet.

Hi Hanson He,

Sorry for the late response.

1. The battery monitor is connected to VDD/4 so there is no need for an external voltage divider. The ADC driver example located in C:\QBlue\QN9020\QBlue-1.3.9\Projects\Driver\adc\ uses the battery monitor. You can use this as a base for your application.

2. In deep sleep, the peripherals are off so it will not add power consumption during this time. When the MCU is active, the ADC current for some configurations is found in Table 14. ADC characteristics in the datasheet.
