1. Did (TEMP_CRITICAL, TEMP_HOT, TEMP_ACTIVE) need to calibration on customer i.MX6 board?

2. Did i.MX6 has hardware protection mechanism (ex: shutdown processor) when operating temperature over specification if software temperature monitor disabled or fail?

Hello,

The i.MX6 does not support hardware thermal shutdown mechanism.
Please use app note " i.MX 6 Temperature Sensor Module " and Chapter 25 (Thermal Driver) of
"i.MX_Linux_Reference_Manual.pdf" regarding thermal protection approach for i.MX6.
