SCM board booting failure with HDMI

Hi i.MX community!

I just started to work with the QWKS-SCM-i.MX6D board. I Tried to boot it up connected to an HDMI display.

And it does not boot. When I check the booting via USB console, I got "PMIC not found" error, and the booting process stops. If I start the board without HDMI connection, it boots up without problem, I can even connect HDMI during the kernel boot, and it works, the console appears on the TV.

I am using the latest image: L4.1.15_2.0.0-SCM-MX6DQ-C

Is it a known issue?

Is it possible that it is a HW problem?

Thx

Attila

Hi Attlila,

Let me check if I get the same behavior on my side.

Can you provide the board revision ?

Best Regards,

Alejandro

Hi Atthila,

I have tried to reproduce the error with no success.

Have you tried with different HDMI monitors?

Best Regards,

Alejandro
