I need to know how can i start working with the board, i have Windows PC and i connected the RS232 to the board but i can't understand how to send a messages and get response.

Someone can help me and give me tips how to begin?

Please review the application note below. This application note shows how a host can control, setup, read and write to any I2C-bus devices through this UART-to-I2C controller.

AN10397 - How to use the SC18IM700 to control any I2C-bus device.

I assume you are using the OM6272 evaluation board. Please find the schematic attached to this response.

I recommend to use the material provided in order to create your first example.

Thank you for your help, i found the attached schematic very useful.

The reason why i need a code sample is because i'm new in the embedded programming and i don't fully understand how to start writing the code for the board and how to communicate with it from PC with RS-232.

I've already read the guide you attached, but i'm trying to find a real code example...
