Following are the Question please clarify us

1.Instead of the 24MHz crystal oscillator can we use an internal clock? If we use internal clock is there any performance degrade?

2.Does this chip have a Spread Spectrum Clocking feature? Please provide us

Thanks & Regards,

Rameshkumar

Hello,

Please refer to Hardware Development Guide for i.MX 6. According to Table 2-7

(Oscillator and clock recommendations) two options for 24 MHz clock are available :

24 MHz oscillator or external megahertz source. There are no so called internal

options. 24MHz input must not be left floating.

Internal PLL2 of the i.MX6 supports Spread Spectrum.

Have a great day,
Yuri
