hi all,
I wanted to use the LS1020a in one of our application. for hardware design is the embed interface and CPLD is necessary for the programming and debuging? , Can it be programmed using Ethernet interface(FTP)?
> is the embed interface and CPLD is necessary for the programming and debuging?
JTAG/COP is necessary, CPLD - not.
> Can it be programmed using Ethernet interface(FTP)?
This is not possible.
hi
thank you for response, Is that MK20DX128VFM5 embed interface is necessary for programming? Can it be programmed just using JTAG interrface?
is there any references documents which explains EMBED interface?
Awaiting for your reply.
Thanks and Regards

No, the CMSIS-DAP (also called MBED) is optional USBSerial interface which emulates a serial port over USB. It can be used as an extra serial port or as a debug solution. NXP does not own the MBED documents - see Home | mbed
Please note that native processor's debugging interface is represented by JTAG/COP. To use this interface additional hardware components are required:
CodeWarrior TAP (probe):
ARM probe tip:
hi,
thanks for the support. I will proceed towards schematics entry.
