Usb gets hang after few iterations of Carplay (connect/disconnect)

Hi All,

Platform : imx6solo/6Dualite based customized board

kernel: 3.10.17

When i do connect/disconnect(I phone) for 3-4 times, i observed Car-play gets hangs and complete USB gets hanged none of USB device gets detected. To recover  I reinserted the following modules (ci_hdrc_imx.ko  ci_hdrc.ko  ci_hdrc_msm.ko  usbmisc_imx.ko) so that it again started functioning.

Can you please help me on this.

Hi Carlos,

We figured out that phones which are drawing maximum 500MA current are causing the usb port  to unknown state, and hangs. This happens when you do connect/disconnect of (mobile phone) for few iterations.

How to overcome this issue, please reply.
