Hello,
We're using the MK11DN512 device.
Successfully used the swap mechanism to update firmware in the field a couple of times.
Now our firmware is about to grow above the half FLASH size, so we'd like to disable the swap, and use a "conventional" bootloader to update the FLASH.
From the swap document, it seems to be impossible to disable it.
Keeping the swap active, makes a hole sector in the middle of the FLASH (for the swap indicator). This is mostly inconvenient.
We would like to disable it, without using the mass erase option, since it's a FOTA procedure, without development intervention.
We tried to erase those indicators, but the seems to be HW protected.
Is there any possibility to do it? maybe some sort of backdoor, or an undocumented feature?
Thanks, Isak.
