How to add linux and which flavour of linux can be run on the ls2088 board?

Sorry, we do not support other Linux distributions or flavors, we support only our Linux SDK:

Linux® SDK for QorIQ ® Processors|NXP

Does the linux sdk support sctp,tcp/ip,udp and posix libraries ?

There are many Linux SDK images in the link you have sent which one to download for LS2088A.
