We are experiencing a problem where the M4 core of the i.MX7 can't access the AIPS3 register (at location
0x309F0000). The JTAG connection is lost when this location is accessed. Similar to when a peripheral register is accessed that it has no access rights to. Accessing AIPS1 and AIPS2 works fine.
is there a know issue? Does accessing AIPS3 something else?
No, this is not a known issue.
Is it possible to access other peripherals in the AIPS3 address range? Is it possible to access AIPS3 configuration registers from software (not using JTAG)? Please check.
Have a great day,
Artur
