I have been working on the hcs12 microcontroller part number mc9s12ga192. I flashed the microcontroller with wrong configuration and the microcontroller went to secure mode. Now what would be the procedure to unsecure it.

Please help out.

Hi Amit,

The CW debugger offers Unsecure per used debugger probe.

If you use PEmicro interfaces like USB Multilink, CyclonePro or OSBDM please go to CW debugger menu ->MultilinkCyclonePro->Unsecure…

The FCLKDIV value for default S12G clock should be selected 6.

If it not works you can use unsecure12 from P&E:

http://www.pemicro.com/downloads/download_file.cfm?download_id=16

More details about S12(X) security:

https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-93803

I hope it helps you.

Have a great day,
Radek
