Different POR behavior between MCIMX6Q-SDB and MCIMX6DL-SDP

Hi,

I compared two reference boards then found a difference.

In case of POR (JTAG_nSRST: pin15) asserted, MCIMX6DL-SDP rebooted but MCIMX6Q-SDB freezed.

I used same Linux versions for both of them.

Why POR caused such different results?

Can anyone explain me?

What's the status now?

Any updates you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Torus,

There are several versions of the SABRE-SDP and SABRE-SDB boards, can you please clarify, the versions of the boards that you are seeing with a different behavior? So we can review the schematics and provide the changes and this may show the different behaviors in the POR.

Hi jamesbone

Torus is DFAE in a region, so could you please follow-up this case?

Dear jamesbone,

Here are my board's revisions:

- MCIMX6Q-SDB         SCH-27516 REV C4

- MCIMX6DL-SDP         SCH-27417 REV C2

Please have a look. It seems same circuit around JTAG_nSRST.

Thanks.
