Hi, is it possible to lock out debugger access after programming the DCF record in the UTEST memory region?

I am using the MPC5744P micro and the Lauterbach debugger. After programming a DCF record incorrectly, I am getting just a  "debug port fail' error without any additional error information when entering these commands: ‘SYStem.DETECT CPU’ or ‘SYStem.Up’.

How do I go about unlocking the device?

Thanks

Hi,

You have to be careful when programing DCF records and UTEST flash.

Incorrect programming or erase lead to brick micro.

And this is your case.

Only way is to replace microcontroller as it is now censored with unknown JTAG password.

is there a reset button or pin on the chip, so we can press the button and hold it over certain time to reset and erease while flash memory  in the chip?
