Dear friends,

I am looking for very basic functionality but cant find any documentation.

I Have Paspberry Pi 2, Explore-NFC with sample NTAG216F

So I installed Neard - Explore NFC successfully and run examples(poll, read, write)

But I need set password to protect writing/rewriting tags record only by authenticated devices(only who knows password).

The question is how to set password on writing operations NTAG216F via EXPLORE-NFC?

Thank you

Hello Julia,

    In NTAG216F , 32-bit & 16bit password are both supported, See it's datasheet.

http://www.nxp.com/documents/data_sheet/NTAG213F_216F.pdf

             8.9 Password verification protection
8.9.1 Programming of PWD and PACK
So you should set them by functions in NFC reader lib for linux.

            Have a great day,

   Weidong
