I am studying MPC5746R MCAL sample application. According to the document :
But I do not have Lauterbach. Can I load the *elf file to my target using GreenHills or S32 Studio? How should I do that?
Its good to make clear some facts:
1. Compiler - Greenhills, S32DS, Windriver, etc...
2. Debugger - Lauterbach, iSystem, PEMicro,Greenhills probe, etc...
To load elf file you need a debugger which you connect to microcontroller. If you don't have Lauterbach you can use any other debugger to lead *elf file.
The debugger I use is PEMicro. I mean is it possible to use S32 Studio or GreenHills to do the work what Trace32 does(import the *elf then download it to my target)
you can use S32 Design Studio to program your .elf into the device since MPC5746R is supported.
See some info e.g. here:HOWTO: download separate elf/srec/hex file to microcontroller using S32 Design Studio
I've followed the instruction to download the .elf and encountered this error:
How could I handle this?
