Hello

Im new for this processor family and from main product page of MPC5743R link was to S32 design studio.

I installed it but there where no support for MPC57xxx series.

Can someone point me to right direction what IDE/compiler would work?

Ok It was ver1.1 for this processor family, now working.

So next question eTPU, programming of eTPU can it be done with S32 Design Studio?

How to point code for this eTPU. ect..

Lot of basic info and help needed..

Hello,

the answer is yes and also no. It depends on the way, you want to use it.

If you want to create object code using S32DS, then answer is no. You cannot create and compile code for eTPU.

If you have compiled object code and you want only download it into the microcontroller, then the answer is yes.

Ok, that limits our development significantly.

What are my options for programming eTPU / eTPU2?

Is there free / opensource compilers available?

Good, bad ones, what are known issues or limitations?

What commercial ones?

CodeWarrior ... Trial version advailable?

Hello,

the best way is to use Ashware tools for eTPU programming, but these are under license. Please look at the following link:

Home | Website | Ashware

Another way is to use CodeWarrior development studio for eTPU. There is evaluation version for 30 days trial and after these 30 days, you must buy license.
