I am using S32DS for MAC57D5xx device. When I try and debug the code, at times the IDE shows that the MCU is in debug mode but the console print show that the device was not programmed. Step debugging the code does not produce the desired results as expected after the console print.

Multiple repeat of debug command show the same result.

Hi Martin,

I went through some online blogs and found the resolution in one of them. I updated the PE Micro component in S32DS IDE and now the debug sessions are much better. Probably the updates should have been integrated in IDE itself as I had downloaded and installed the IDE recently only. Never-mind, it works  now.

Regards,

Ankur

Hello,

I tested MAC57D54 with mask 1N87P with Multilink Universal FX and S32 Design Studio version 1.3 on my side and it worked correct. Could you please write me back following points?

  • What is the mask of your microcontroller?
  • Do you use NXP EVB or you have your own design?
  • What debug probe you use to connect?
  • In case you use PEMicro, have you correctly installed PEMicro drivers?
  • Did you create single-core or multi-core project? (which cores)
  • Do you use default project and debug settings?
  • Could you please share here you project to test it on my side?

Regards,

Martin
