This was reported earlier by another user in release 3.14. That time it was told that the issue is highlighted to the documentation teams.

But these errors still not corrected in 4.1 upgrade. Created another thread to highlight the issue.

Device tree related stuff and the code locations should be thoroughly revised.

Good documentation is many times basis for selection of the SoC. iMX6 is well documented and the standard should be maintained. I refer to imx6 documents a lot and its pain to see things not done the right way even after being pointed to.

I mentioned the name of the document in my heading only. Its i.MX_Linux_Reference_Manual.pdf Rev 1, 01/2017. 

This one is the latest Linux reference manual.

There are references to plat-mxc which is non existent since 2 yrs. The references need to be correctde and old or removed file names need to be updated.

I could find these references at  Pg 39,Pg 128, Pg 151, Pg 320.

Hope to see them in errata or updated version soon.
