The memory machine recognizes whether to use PPAGE_OFFSET decoding mechanism on the basis of the offset range. If the offset is 8000~BFFF (memory window, see Figure 8. Complete 9S08 Memory Map in http://cache.nxp.com/assets/documents/data/en/application-notes/AN3730.pdf) the final address is internally created as (PPAGE<<14) | (OFFSET & 0x3FFF).
So the address range to get or store memory is PPAGE = 0x00~0x07 OFFSET = 0x8000~0xBFFF
