Dear Sirs

What is the difference between TJA1040T/CM & TJA1040T/VM, other than the VM is obsolete & the CM is still active?

Best Regards

Dear Rob,

This IC was moved from our DHAM Fab to our ICN8 Fab, as part of this move the device received a BOM update to bring it in line with our newer products produced in ICN8. There were no changes made to the active area of the die, so there should be no electrical difference between the two versions.

Best regards,

Tomas
