Dear all,

We perform system development using i.MX7.
We debug it using IAR J-Link.

When exceptions such as Data Abort occur, we cannot look at any registers of ARM from J-Link.
We seem that it cannot access the CPU.

Such a problem does not occur with other companies's CPU.
We suspect that there may be some problem with JTAG I/F of i.MX7.

Is there the method to get information definitely from J-TAG when an exception occurs in i.Mx7?

May I have advice?

Best Regards,
Yuuki

Hi Yuuki

Regarding to what you mention in your mssage :

"We suspect that there may be some problem with JTAG I/F of i.MX7."

I have another jtag probe here (BDI3000). I wonder if it helps

you if I try this out with another probe to isolate the issue to CPU.

If you think this is any help, please send me your complete

procedure that I can repeat here when I have some time.

Hope this helps

Regards
