Is MPC5200CVR400 or MPC5200CBV400 REV.2 available and if so, how can it be ordered ?

What is changed from REV.2 to REV.4 ?

Will a circuit (including software) designed for a REV.2 chip ALLWAYS work if updating to a REV.4 chip ?

The MPC5200Cxx400 is the MPC5200 Rev A.

The MPC5200CVR400 is the MPC5200 Rev A in 272 TE-BGA packages.

The MPC5200CBV400 is the MPC5200 Rev A in 272 TE-BGA Pb-free packages.

All circuit and all software work on the MPC5200Cxx400 Rev 2 and Rev 4.

The MPC5200Cxx400B is the MPC5200 Rev B. Look at the AN3045 about difference between Rev A and Rev B:
