Hi,

if we use NXP product (like PN5120) does it mean that we fulfil the licence conditions necessary for Mifare (classic, DesFire,..) plus NFC A, B? To get support regarding DesFire we need to sign NDA?

We are developing readers for access control systems, so we plan to use mifare and or NFC for access. I found good document covering NFC licence topic, but not too much regarding Mifare.

thank you,

best regards

Adam.

Hello Adam Jansky,

For the ISO/IEC 14443A and ISO/IEC 14443B licensing information, see the next page:

ISO/IEC 14443A Licensing Information|NXP

Regarding MIFARE, please visit the next pages about certification and branding:

Certification | MIFARE

Trademark and Branding Information | MIFARE

The MIFARE DESFire documentation is indeed protected under NDA. You need to contact your local authorized distributor:

Distributor Network|NXP

Best Regards!,
Jorge Gonzalez

Your link for ISO/IEC 14443A and ISO/IEC 14443B licensing information doesn't work.
