The following web page describe the available Linux BSP options for i.MX6 processors

http://www.nxp.com/products/microcontrollers-and-processors/arm-processors/i.mx-applications-process...

The 'Source Code' links all point to git.nxp.com/git, however this DNS name doesn't exist.

What is the correct URL for the Linux BSP git repository?

In the past I have used http://git.freescale.com/git/cgit.cgi/imx/linux-2.6-imx.git/, however http://git.freescale.com/git/cgit.cgi/imx/linux-imx.git/ also exists and it's not clear what each of these repositories is for.

Please indicate the current definative URL to access the Linux BSP git repository for i.MX6.

Thank you

Austin

Hello Austin,

Thanks for pointing this out. I couldn’t find the git.nxp.com/git references though, if you could point to the specific webpage or document it would help us check that out. The repositories still refer to the Freescale git as it had remained unchanged.

*UPDATED

The more legacy Linux Kernel tree would be the one bellow. (Again, the naming remains unchanged from an older linux release), as it contains the commits for the Linux and Android BSPs.

http://git.freescale.com/git/cgit.cgi/imx/linux-2.6-imx.git/

The new repository which contains legacy releases and the latest releases would be:

linux-imx.git - i.MX Linux Kernel

I’ll double check if there’s any difference between both and I’ll let you know.

Regards,

Hello,

Thank you for your response, it's good to know that http://git.freescale.com/git/cgit.cgi/imx/linux-2.6-imx.git/ is the correct link, especially since it includes the name including 2.6 which could be misleading.

The invalid web page link is on the page listed in the original question under the Linux section.  See following screenshot.

Hello Austin Phillips,

Hopefully the Source Code link will be fixed soon.

I just wanted to update you on the repository to be used. I double checked and both repositories have similar releases and the linux-2.6-imx.git will remain available. However, the newer releases will now be posted on linux-imx.git (which also contains legacy releases).

My apologies for the confusion!

Regards,
