IMX6Q mipi LCD ghost image

      1、Basic information

cpu：IMX6Q  android:4.4.2   kernel:linux3.0.5     mipi interface ips LCD

2、problem description

After machine start, when I stay at an UI for more than three minutes. There will be an obvious ghost image(ghost shadow, in chinese:残影).Like stay at setting for 3 minutes

Then we can see the setting ghost image at the screen

How to solve this probem? Thanks

this could be related to this specific lcd usage (for example some

power up sequence is needed), so one can try to get support from

lcd vendor.

Hi igor

I have checked power up sequence and data written to LCD IC for many times. The IC vendor of LCD used the same data to write to screen and it worked fine. Difference is IC vendor use other platform. Furthermore, the LCD works fine in MTK platform. So, there may be some problems in imx6q DSI source code

one can try to check lcd timings and adjust them in driver described

in Chapter 6 MIPI DSI Driver attached Linux Manual.
