u-boot shows 256MB memory but only 128MB memory is getting read/write

Dear All,

I am working with P2020 processor board, there is 256MB NOR flash (S70GL02GS)  on board.

I have configured 256MB NOR memory in the u-boot config file (p1_p2_rdb_pc.h).

#CONFIG_SYS_FLASH_BASE       0XE0000000

#CONFIG_SYS_MAX_FLASH_SECT 2048

u-boot log shows 256MB memory but only 128MB memory (0xe0000000 - 0xe7fffffff) is getting read/write.

Please help me what need to configure for the accessing rest of the memory.

Dear All,

Since 2 months facing issue.

Anybody is available for support.

Through CW 256MB NOR memory works fine there is no issue but in the u-boot level only 128MB NOR memory read/write happen.

I have verified through Code Warrior also, 256MB (F0000000 - FFFFFFFF)  NOR read/write is working without any issue.

As per my understanding, you are talking about custom board. Please describe how the flash is connected.
