Hello Team

 

Could you check about the question of MPC5777C MPU?

As far as I know, 5777C’s MPU does not have Slave port to Flash like below block.

However, as the RM of 5777C, it shows like below table for the explanation of Overlapping region.

It makes the confusing, why it shows “Flash”…about RGD0 and 1. It looks like that MPC can be used for Flash by 5777C
Could you let me know the reason of Flash?(Is 5777C’s MPU possible to use Flash?)

I can confirm flash memory is not protected by MPU.

I agree section "14.7 Application information" is misleading as it is apparently some generic example applicable for other devices where it is mostly possible. I will ask for documentation change. Thanks for highlighting of the issue.

If so, the block diagram of MPC5557C in NXP homepage as below is wrong?

This BD looks like flash memory could be protected by MPU.
