KMZ60 about start-up angle error

I have question about KMZ60 application. I want to use it  to detect the position in Electronic throttle body. The datasheet mention about  " start-up angle error", the error is bigger with TC link to VCC.  Did i need to set the throttle to zero point to learn the zero point angle value for adjusting the error with every start-up, or just need once before  leaving the factory.

Hello Jianwei,

The KMZ60 does not have an automatic offset compensation integrated. That means, when you start the device, the output offset needs to be calibrated by your acquisition system.

Under standard conditions, it is sufficient to determine one time the Offset and TC-offset in fab and correct the KMZ60 signals with this offset vs. temperature characteristics.

Best regards,

Tomas
