In LS1043A, Pull up value for HRESET_B to OVDD?

The Pull up value for HRESET_B is mentioned as 1K in the Figure 100. JTAG interface connection of Datasheet but in Application Note AN5012 it is said as "HRESET_B is an open drain signal and should be pulled high through a 2-10 kΩ
resistor to OVDD."

What value should be used for HRESET_B pull up to OVDD?

I do not see significant difference between 1K and 2-10K, both variants are acceptable. 2-10K is guarantied to be enough, however you should understand that the value of pull-up is also dependent on a number of external loads connected to this HRESET_B line, so if you wish to be on the safe side, you can use more strong 1K pull-up.
