Hi all
My customer build a custom board and let me confirm about supplying voltage to NVCC_LOW in i.MX6SX.
Q1.
They don't use SD cad which is 1.8V device.
In that case, they don't have to supply 1.8V voltage to NVCC_LOW.
Am I correct ?
Q2.
Can they supply 1.8V to NVCC_LOW ?
According to the P28 of IMX6SXIEC Rev. 2, 6/2016, it seems that the NVCC_LOW pin can supply 1.8V.

Hello
According to Table 9 (Operating ranges) of IMX6SXIEC (Rev. 2, 6/2016) :
“All digital I/O supplies (NVCC_xxxx) must be powered (unless otherwise
specified in this datasheet) under normal conditions whether the associated I/O
pins are in use or not and the associated IO pins need to have a pullup or pulldown
resistor applied to limit any floating gate current.”
NVCC_LOW should be in range 1.65V - 3.6V.
Have a great day,
Yuri

Sorry, my explanation was appropriate.
I know it need to power the NVCC_LOW pin.
My question is whether user can supply 3.3V to NVCC_LOW when they don't use SD card which is support 1.8V or not.
Can user supply 3.3V to NVCC_LOW instead of 1.8V ?
Ko-hey
Typically NVCC_LOW should be 1.8 V for the dual-voltage IOs on the SD3 interface.
When such dual power option is not used - 3.3V is also allowed.

Okay, thank you !
