XBMC ( Kodi ) black-listed gmtime error, workaround?

Hi,

I'd like to use the Krogoth build of XBMC but unfortunately it's blacklisted with an error: "gmtime has not been declared".

Does anyone know how long before this issue will be fixed? Or is there a workaround?

BR,

Ed.

Hello Edward Tyrrell,

I would recommend looking at the release information of Kodi and even looking at the Kodi forums for help on building Kodi.

http://forum.kodi.tv/

You may also look for alternative layers like the one below. Please note that NXP is not responsible for these layers since these are third parties and you may use them at your own risk.

Hi,

Thanks, seemed fine until "imx-vpuwrap PROVIDES libfslvpuwrap but was skipped: incompatible with machine imx7dsabresd (not in COMPATIBLE_MACHINE)"

being built with fsl-image-multimedia.

Is this actually the case? Is this version of Kodi not compatible?

BR,

Edward.

Hello Edward Tyrrell,

You do not mention which BSP you are using but it is possible that the VPU libraries that are part of the BSP Release may not be compatible. If you are using a BSP Release I would recommend switching to one of the branches of the Community BSP (more information on the link below) since it is part of the Yocto Project and it is Open Source.

However, to be sure I would ask on the Kodi forums, although if supported by i.MX machines it’s most likely that it will be based on the Community BSP.
