NFC Cockpit issue under Windows 10

Hi,

I'am trying to work with the PNEV7462B eval board and the NFC Cockpit tool (v1.3.0.0) under Windows 10.

I have successfully updated the board (firmware and eeprom) through the mass storage 'channel'.

After reboot, a new USB virtual serial port appeared (COM11) but Cockpit doesn't see it. The port selector combo is empty.

I also reinstalled the VCOM driver (forcing Windows 10 to install unsigned drivers) but the result is the same.

Is there a known issue around this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Finally it works after reinstalling the VCOM driver using another method:

peripherals->update driver->choose driver in list->select PN7462AU VCOM Port.

The device name now appears as PN7462AU VCOM (COM11)

After a new positive test done under Windows XP running in a VM on the same computer, the issue met under W10 is clearly related to the installation of the PN7462 VCOM driver.

To be continued...
