Are there any example projects with PCIe is set up for reads and writes from an external device like an FPGA?

I am using the CodeWarrior to try and perform PCI Express (PCIe) reads and writes to an FPGA connected on the other side.  Are there any examples or does anyone know how to set up the T1040 RDB registers to enable PCIe.  I have been trying to get it to work, also using the Reference Manual but I have not been successful.
