Hello,
I have a question.
I used S12XDP512 for CAN communication.
When CAN transmit error occurs, how increase TX error counter?
If transmit error occurred, is error counter increasing one bit? or more bits?
I can't check it in reference manual.
would you please let me know this issue?
Thanks.

Hi
the CAN module meets CAN2.0AB standard.
The specification can be found in the https://www.nxp.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/data_sheet/BCANPSV2.pdf
See chapter 12.2 Error counts. The error counters works automatically. You can only do something on error interrupts.
If this does not answer your question do not hesitate to reply.
Best regards,
Ladislav
