Dear All, I wanted to know whether Can I use whole 2.5 MB of Flash Memory for EEPROM Emulation in MPC5744P?

Is this possible ? If not then why ? I am using Eb Tressos Tool to configure the Flash of MPC5744P. With this tool I was able to map Code Array to a FEE block. Hence I was under confusion whether this is possible or not. mpc5744p eeprom emulation

It is possible in principle.

But 16 KB and 32 KB block are suitable for EEPROM emulation because they are small and its endurance (i.e. number is repeated P/E cycles the block is capable to withstand) is high.

One the other hand large 256KB blocks have low endurance but high retention (ability to retain its data state over long periods of time) thus these ones are suitable mainly for code storage.
