Issue with eth1 interface on imx6sx board

Question asked by Prasanna Kulkarni on Sep 22, 2016

Hi all,

We are using IMX6SX Eval board and running Android 6.0.x marshmallow . we want use both eth0 & eth1 interfaces. but currently only eth0 interface getting UP on boot and eth1 manually we have to make it up. but dhcp is working only with eth0 not with eth1, even though both the interface are connected to diff dhcp servers. I have used the command "dhcptool eth1" after this it takes the ip from dhcp server. but the problem here is,  ping is not happening through eth1. what could be problem? and how to make both eth0 and eth1 both UP at the boot time with dhcp enabled? at the same time eth0 working in all cases.

1. After boot

# ifconfig
