how to make a 4.x rootfs for imx53QSB

Hello,

I see some people get imx53QSB support kernel 4.4.x and ubuntu16.04.1, I tried with my imx535QSB and make it boot up.

Almost every thing works except the snd card.

My question is: Does somebody try to use desktop rootfs on imx53 serial, or have a way to build new rootfs with kernel 4.x?

Thanks for your reply. Yes  the document helpful but linux-2.6-imx-rel_imx_3.14.52_1.1.0_ga this one used kernel 2.6.x or it is 3.14.x?
