I am building images for IMX53 evk board using Yocto. I have used following commands to build images.

mkdir ~/bin
curl http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/bin/repo
chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
export PATH=~/bin:$PATH

mkdir fsl-release-bsp
cd fsl-release-bsp
repo init -u git://git.freescale.com/imx/fsl-arm-yocto-bsp.git -b imx-3.10.53-1.1.0_ga
repo sync
MACHINE=imx53qsb
source fsl-setup-release.sh –b build-fb –e fb
bitbake core-image-minimal

The u-boot image built is latest(u-boot-imx53qsb-v2015.04+gitAUTOINC+5d9ffd2214-r0.imx). But the kernel image built is 2.6.35. I have used the branch as "imx-3.10.53-1.1.0_ga" and I could see the recipe files for 3.14.52 kernel, but is it building 2.6.35 Kernel.

$fsl-release-bsp/sources/meta-fsl-bsp-release/imx/meta-bsp/recipes-kernel/linux$ ls
linux-imx_3.14.52.bb linux-imx_%.bbappend linux-imx-mfgtool_3.14.52.bb
$

I have checked "./meta-fsl-arm/conf/machine/imx53qsb.conf" file also, but I couldn't see any configuration parameter in this configuration file.

Can you help me to understand why it is not building 2.6.35 kernel instead of 3.14.52.
